My Neighbours Will Like Me Even Less With My New Conservatory
We have lived in our current home for nearly 15 years now. I absolutely love my home, but about five years ago we had new neighbours moved in next door. At first they seemed okay, but as the months have gone on they seem to have started trying to compete with everything we do. It doesn’t matter what we do, they always have to do the same and try and do it better.
Take last year as a prime example, we had to have a couple of new double glazed windows fitted just to the front of our house. They had to go one better than us and had the whole of their house double glazed!
My husband bought a new car recently, and although it was new to him, it wasn’t totally brand new. What do they have to go and do, of course buy a brand new motor. I say they are the bigger fools because as soon as they drove out of the car showroom the value on the new car would have dropped.
I have a feeling that I might just get the upper hand over them this year. On the back of their house they have this really old conservatory that to be totally honest doesn’t fit in at all with the surrey conservatories theme.
I am going to be a little cheeky though and I am out to win the game hands down. At the moment I am carrying out a spot of research into the best conservatory for the style of our home.
I am probably the same as pretty much everybody else and have started my search using the internet. So far I have researched Victorian Conservatories Surrey as well as Edwardian Conservatories Surrey. Some of the results I have found are absolutely brilliant and I am confident that whichever style I decide to go with, it is going to look so much better than next doors decrepit piece of glass.
Having said that though, they will probably knock down their conservatory and build a great big extension just to wind me up!!
